Dixa says What’s up to WhatsApp!

Today, we welcome another messaging channel to Dixa because great friendships are about being able to connect, whether it be in-person or online. The addition of WhatsApp is part of a bigger theme at Dixa to give our users the chance to engage with their customers on the channels they prefer.

With over 1.5 billion users worldwide, WhatsApp is considered the most popular messaging app in the world. This comes as no surprise given that messaging apps have been on the rise for some time now and show no sign of slowing down.

There are many elements about that make messaging apps so suitable for brands to use as a channel to communicate, engage and support their customers. The reason being, providing customers a way to get in touch that is more in line with the way they are already communicating with their friends is simply more convenient and feels more authentic, which increases engagement. As a result, according to Facebook’s commissioned study by Sentient Decision Science, of those who message businesses, the majority say being able to message a business helps them feel more confident about the brand, establish trust with the brand and feel personally connected to the brand.

We’re excited to continue to offer our users with more channels to engage with their customers – especially those that reflect the characteristics we value in our own product here at Dixa.
